RF Remote Control:
In addition to the pendant controls, radio frequency controlled remote controls are used in the system.
RF remote controls can be powered by 1.2 V rechargeable or 1.5 V regular AA batteries. Single speed and double speed models are available. Today, the mostly used model is the 6 button (movement) double (step) speed.
Since this type of remote controls is wireless, it allows the crane operator to stay as far away from the load as he wants. This reduces possible crane operator injuries in crane-related accidents.
