End Carriage Group

These are the components making the crane systems travel along the hall. The number of the wheels can be designed as 4 or 8 depending on the wheel loads.
The most crucial thing is that the number of the drive wheels has to be half the number of wheels in the end carriage.
The wheels are named according to their revolving diameters in accordance with DIN 15072 standard. 125, 160, 200, 250, 315, 400, 500, 630, 710, 800 are the mostly used wheel diameters. They are the components which are subject to wear most.
Depending on the area of use, the wheels can be produced from GGG 70 copper-added nodular (spheroidal) cast iron, as well as from SAE 4140 tempered steel, especially in process cranes. Surface hardening or heat treatment can be applied to the wheels as needed.
